ROBERTA BY EVA DONCKERS

"This summer, I’ve spent time with Roberta, who lives at 2100m altitude, where she takes care of her Piedmontese cows. This is one of the few farms in the area that still work with this breed. All the milking is done by hand twice a day to make cheeses, yogurt, and butter. Amazed by all the work she does, together with her loveable parents Giovanna and Gulio and shepherd Valentino. To live and work in the rhythm of nature is a challenge, but they succeed so well! So important to share these kinds of stories, since we forget how much effort good food takes, and to appreciate the slow life…
How I miss the mountains now…."
